how to Fix Greenpois0n Absinthe Error establishing a database connection ? I have iPhone 4s on iOS 5.0.1 and after i used Greenpoison Absinthe i have this Error establishing a database connection how can i fix this problem cause it is Jailbreak Urgent
Answer:
Just reboot and redo the jailbreak if you have problems.
The VPN connection will give an error. This is normal. A reboot should happen a few moments after the error.
We have a fix for that…
iOS hacker PlanetBeing who helped develop the jailbreak tweeted a simple fix for the “error establishing a database connection”. Apparently, all you need to do is go to Settings > Network > VPN > ON.
The VPN connection will most likely give an error and your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 should reboot shortly after. Once it’s rebooted, try launching the Absinthe webclip again.

When i click the Absinth icon it sometimes goes to a website but i dont understand how to install cydia from it?
Tried it issue still remains when swiping “on” the vpn button i do get the error, but no reboot follows it. and with the absinthe icon i just get a white page. ill just wait it out until things get sorted.

Same thing happened. This is what you do to get it to work:
1. Make sure you do a complete restore on iTunes on the latest iTunes software. A reset all contents and settings will not work.
2. Set up as new iPad
3. Run the jailbreak app
4. Open the app on the springboard, it will give you an error, click on the large green Jailbreak icon on the screen
5. An error message saying that you cannot open the url will pop up. Click Close
6. Will take you back to the home screen and reboot without having to turn on the VPN
Cydia will be in place of the absinthe icon

I am getting an error when I turn the VPN on but no reboot. Any clues why is that happening?

This worked for my ipad 2: 1. Reset all network settings2. Delete absinthe from your springboard3. Download absinthe version absinthe-mac-0.1.2-24. Instal absinthe-mac-0.1.2-25. Run the jailbreak process6. It should restart your ipad 2 automatically, If not then do the VPN trick7. Once restarted you’ll get the Cydia Icon instead of absinthe.I hope this can help you guys. =)
