Doesn’t work. Hangs at: “Absinthe is now setting things up, please stand-by”
Tried all tips/tricks turning on VPN etc (as mentioned elsewhere) but ipad 2 does not reboot.
Also tried restoring as well. Any body managed to successfully jailbreak using the Linux version?

Thanks man. I am beginning to think there is some other problem (not to do whether it is Linux or Windows). I am using wifi with no 3g. I wonder if that is causing it? Or, might be because wifi is encrypted? Been trying various things for past 3 hours. Giving up and going to bed. Will try again tomorrow. If you find anything that works, plz let us know.
here is an other problem been trying to jailbreak using absinthe v0.3 for the pass 5 hour still no luck …. it would not go on to the next step , i just stuck in the first step of jailbreaking … waited about 1 hour still the same….using ipad 2 gsm (3g+wifi) jailbreaking using win 7 …..
